My first presentation about FOSS

I don’t know should I call this as my first presentation about Free and Open Source (FOSS) while I was at Malaysia I used to do presentation in Master of Trainer workshop prepared by AOSS with the topic of System Administration that I and my Malaysian LPI trainer, Khairil Yusof, met each other again after we had met at Philippines in the LPI training of trainer workshop. There it seem I feel normal because I know most of the participants come from and who they are. And I feel a bit warm because I have some friends there that I just knew during the workshop especially Khairil that encouraged me to do presentation and always give good advice to me. I can say that when I meet him I feel hopefully, because he talk and motivate me many thing related to FOSS, is this because he is a consultant?
But at that time I also dedicate my special thank to Nurhizam Safie Bin Mohd Satar who is one of organizers of Master Trainer workshop. During my stay at Malaysia his family took care of me very much, and I am very happy to see the happiness of his family of 4 people with two lovely daughters. I knew that they are a happy family by talking to the couple and living with his family a few day showing that they love and take care each other very much. I wish I could have such a happiness family in the future

Come back to my presentation with the topic of What is Free and Open Source Software in the Clogger Submit organized by clogger team, and KhmerOS is one of funder to the event. I felt a bit fear because I have to do presentation in English and the audience both Cabodian and foreigner and I just learned in the detail about the history and what is FOSS, before the presentation start a few day before. But on the day of presentation I was told to do presentation in Khmer language, I started to feel warm because I thinked they were my students but still difficult because I am not good at talking. Here is my slide. The event was similar to Asia source II because of the organizer is one of Asia source II participants. I think it’s a good event of sharing knowledge that people can learn and know-how the new technology enable normal user to share information on the web even though they are not web developer. Cambodian should learn and do it especially in Khmer language to enrich online resource for all Cambodian who don’t speak English very well.
